अध्याय ९ — कर्णस्य प्रहारः, योधयुग्मनियोजनम्, शैनेय-कैकेययोर्युद्धविन्यासः
रुधिरे पीयमाने च किंस्विद् दुर्योधनो<ब्रवीत् । युद्धस्थलमें अपने भाई दुःशासनको भीमसेनके द्वारा मारा गया देख जब कि उसका रक्त पीया जा रहा था, दुर्योधनने क्या कहा?
rudhire pīyamāne ca kiṃsvid duryodhano 'bravīt |
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «នៅពេលទុះសាសន បងប្រុសរបស់គាត់ ដេកស្លាប់លើសមរភូមិ ហើយឈាមរបស់គាត់កំពុងត្រូវបានផឹក ដុរយោធនបាននិយាយអ្វី?»
