उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
श्वेतो ग्रह: प्रजज्लित: सधूम इव पावक: । ऐन्द्रं तेजस्वि नक्षत्र ज्येष्ठामाक्रम्य तिषतति,केतु नामक उपग्रह धूमयुक्त अग्निके समान प्रज्वलित हो इन्द्रदेवतासम्बन्धी तेजस्वी ज्येष्ठा नक्षत्रपर जाकर स्थित है
śveto grahaḥ prajajlitaḥ sadhūma iva pāvakaḥ | aindraṃ tejasvi nakṣatraṃ jyeṣṭhām ākramya tiṣṭhati |
វ្យាសៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «មានគ្រោះស (កេតុ) មួយភ្លឺចែងចាំង ដូចភ្លើងមានផ្សែងព័ទ្ធ។ វត្ថុភ្លឺរលោងនោះ ដែលពាក់ព័ន្ធនឹងព្រះឥន្ទ្រ បានឆ្ពោះទៅលើនក្ខត្រ ជ្យេស្ឋា ហើយឈរនៅទីនោះ»។ ក្នុងបរិយាកាសព្រឺព្រួចមុនសង្គ្រាម និមិត្តនេះបង្ហាញការរំខាននៃលំដាប់សកល ដូចអធម្ម និងហិង្សាដែលជិតមក ដាក់ស្រមោលលើមេឃផងដែរ។
