उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
अन्योन्यमभिमृद्नन्ति नगराणि युयुत्सव: । पद्मोत्पलानि वृक्षेषु जायन्ते कुमुदानि च
anyonyam abhimṛdnanti nagarāṇi yuyutsavaḥ | padmotpalāni vṛkṣeṣu jāyante kumudāni ca ||
វ្យាសៈពណ៌នាពិភពលោកដែលត្រូវបង្វិលច្រឡំ៖ អ្នកដែលប្រាថ្នាសង្គ្រាម សង់ “ទីក្រុង” ក្លែងក្លាយ ហើយរុញរំលោភបំផ្លាញទីក្រុងរបស់គ្នាទៅវិញទៅមកឲ្យក្លាយជាធូលី; ហើយសូម្បីធម្មជាតិក៏វិលវល់—ផ្កាឈូក ផ្កាឈូកខៀវ និងកុមុទ (ផ្កាលីលីទឹកស) ត្រូវបាននិយាយថា លូតលាស់លើដើមឈើ។ ខគម្ពីរនេះបង្ហាញភាពរអិលរអូសនៃធម៌មុនសង្គ្រាមធំ ពេលទាំងចិត្តមនុស្ស និងលំដាប់លោកសកលហាក់ដូចជាប្រែប្រួលខុសធម្មតា។
