Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
इन्द्र बवाच कुतो दुःखं मानसं देहजं वा पाण्ड्विंवर्णश्व॒ कुतस्त्वमद्य । आचक्ष्व मे ब्राह्मण यावदेतान् निहन्मि सर्वास्तव दुःखकर्तुन्
indra uvāca—kuto duḥkhaṁ mānasaṁ dehajaṁ vā pāṇḍu-varṇaś ca kutas tvam adya? ācakṣva me brāhmaṇa yāvad etān nihannmi sarvān tava duḥkha-kartṝn.
ឥន្ទ្រ (Indra) បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា: «ទុក្ខនេះមកពីណា—ទុក្ខក្នុងចិត្ត ឬទុក្ខក្នុងកាយ? ហេតុអ្វីបានជាថ្ងៃនេះអ្នកស្លេកស្លាំង និងស្រងូតស្រងាត់ដូច្នេះ? សូមប្រាប់ខ្ញុំភ្លាមៗ ឱ ព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍; តែអ្នកដាក់ឈ្មោះអ្នកបង្កទុក្ខទាំងឡាយ ខ្ញុំនឹងវាយបំផ្លាញពួកគេទាំងអស់ឲ្យរលាយទៅ»។
