एवमेतदिति प्राहुस्तदभूल्लोमहर्षणम् । उनके ऐसा कहनेपर भीमसेन आदि भाइयों और द्रौपदीने एक स्वरसे कहा--'हाँ, महाराजका कहना ठीक है।” इस महान् त्यागकी बात सुनकर सबके रोंगटे खड़े हो गये
evam etad iti prāhus tad abhūl lomaharṣaṇam |
«ពិតដូច្នោះ» ពួកគេបានឆ្លើយ; ហើយពេលនោះក្លាយជាពេលវេលាដែលធ្វើឲ្យរោមឈរឡើង។ ទោះបីព្រះអង្គបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលដូច្នោះហើយក្តី ភីមសេន និងបងប្អូនផ្សេងៗ ព្រមទាំងដ្រោបទី បានឆ្លើយជាសំឡេងតែមួយថា៖ «បាទ—ព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះមហាក្សត្រត្រឹមត្រូវ»។ ពេលស្តាប់រឿងនៃការលះបង់ដ៏មហិមានេះ មនុស្សទាំងអស់រោមឈរឡើង ដោយសេចក្តីគោរពកោតខ្លាចចំពោះទម្ងន់ធម៌នៃយញ្ញបូជានោះ។
