स्थैर्यमत्र कथं मे स्यात् सत्त्वं नि:संशयं कुरु । कुपितस्त्वां न हीदानीं भस्म कुर्या सबान्धवम्
sthairyam atra kathaṁ me syāt sattvaṁ niḥsaṁśayaṁ kuru | kupitas tvāṁ na hīdānīṁ bhasma kuryā sabāndhavam ||
សំវរត្តបាននិយាយថា៖ «តើខ្ញុំនឹងមានភាពមាំមួននៅទីនេះដូចម្តេច—តើខ្ញុំនឹងប្រាកដចំពោះសេចក្តីតាំងចិត្តរបស់អ្នកបានយ៉ាងណា? សូមបំបាត់សង្ស័យរបស់ខ្ញុំឲ្យអស់សព្វ។ ព្រោះបើឥឡូវនេះកំហឹងគ្រប់គ្រងខ្ញុំ ខ្ញុំអាចដុតអ្នកឲ្យក្លាយជាផេះ ព្រមទាំងញាតិមិត្តទាំងអស់របស់អ្នកផង»។
