वर्तमाने महाराज महे रैवतकस्य च । उपायात् पुण्डरीकाक्षो युयुधानानुगस्तदा
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
vartamāne mahārāja mahe raivatakasya ca |
upāyāt puṇḍarīkākṣo yuyudhānānugas tadā ||
វៃសម្បាយនៈទូលថា៖ ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ! ខណៈពេលមហោស្រពដ៏ធំកំពុងប្រព្រឹត្តលើភ្នំរൈവតកៈ នោះព្រះពុន្ឌរីកាក្សៈ (ស្រីក្រឹષ્ણ) បានយាងមក ដោយមានយុយុធានៈ (សាត្យគិ) តាមព្រះអង្គ។ ពួកគេបានឆ្លងកាត់ស្រះទឹក ទន្លេ ព្រៃ និងភ្នំជាច្រើន ហើយបានទៅដល់ទីក្រុងទ្វារកាដ៏រីករាយលើសគេ មុនចូលរួមក្នុងមហាពិធីដែលកំពុងដំណើរការ។
