Sāttvika-vṛtta-kathana (Brahmā on the Conduct of Sattva) — Chapter 38
क्षमा धृतिरहिंसा च समता सत्यमार्जवम् | अक्रोधश्वानसूया च शौचं दाक्ष्यं पराक्रम:
kṣamā dhṛtir ahiṃsā ca samatā satyam ārjavam | akrodhaś cān asūyā ca śaucaṃ dākṣyaṃ parākramaḥ ||
ព្រះវាយុទេវបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ការអត់ធ្មត់ ការតាំងចិត្តមាំមួន អហിംសា (មិនបង្កអំពើហិង្សា) ភាពស្មើចិត្ត សច្ចៈ និងភាពត្រង់ត្រាស់; ការខ្វះកំហឹង ការមិនស្វែងរកកំហុសអ្នកដទៃ ភាពបរិសុទ្ធ ជំនាញ និងវីរភាព—ទាំងនេះជាសញ្ញាបង្ហាញនៃគុណសត្ត្វ (sattva-guṇa)»។
