स चास्य सम्यड्मेधावी प्रत्यपद्यत वीर्यवान् । इसके बाद राजा धृतराष्ट्रने बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ भीमसेनको सान्त्वना दी। बुद्धिमान् एवं पराक्रमी भीमसेनने भी उनकी बातोंको यथार्थरूपसे ग्रहण किया--हृदयसे स्वीकार किया
sa cāsya samyaṅ-medhāvī pratyapadyata vīryavān |
ហើយគាត់—អ្នកមានប្រាជ្ញាច្បាស់លាស់ និងមានកម្លាំងអស្ចារ្យ—បានទទួលយកព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ធ្រឹតរાષ્ટ્રដោយស្មោះត្រង់។ បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះបាទធ្រឹតរાષ્ટ્રបានលួងលោម ភីមសេន អ្នកលើសគេក្នុងចំណោមអ្នកមានកម្លាំង; ហើយភីមសេន អ្នកឆ្លាតវៃ និងក្លាហាន បានទទួលយកដំបូន្មាននោះតាមដែលវាជាក់ស្តែង ដាក់ចូលក្នុងព្រះហឫទ័យ។ អត្ថបទនេះបង្ហាញចលនាធម៌ពីទុក្ខសោក និងជម្លោះ ទៅរកការផ្សះផ្សា តាមរយៈការទទួលយកដោយគោរពចំពោះការណែនាំរបស់មនុស្សចាស់ជរា។
