छत्रोपानहदानफलप्रशंसा — Praise of the Merit of Donating Umbrella and Footwear
जमदम्नेश्व संवाद सूर्यस्य च महात्मन: । पुरा स भगवान् साक्षाद्धनुषाक्रीडयत् प्रभो
jamadagneś ca saṃvādaḥ sūryasya ca mahātmanaḥ | purā sa bhagavān sākṣād dhanuṣā krīḍayat prabho, ānīya sā tadā tasmai prādād asakṛd acyuta |
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ មានការរៀបរាប់អំពីសន្ទនាបុរាណមួយ រវាងមហាឥសី ជមដគ្និ និងព្រះអាទិត្យដ៏មានព្រះវិញ្ញាណធំ។ កាលពីបុរាណ ជមដគ្និដ៏គួរគោរពនោះ បានលេងកម្សាន្តជាមួយធ្នូ—ហាត់បាញ់ព្រួញជាការអនុវត្តដោយវិន័យ។ នៅពេលនោះ ភរិយារបស់លោក គឺ រេណុកា បានយកព្រួញដែលបានបាញ់ចេញទៅហើយ ត្រឡប់មកប្រគល់ឲ្យលោកម្តងហើយម្តងទៀត។»
