छत्रोपानहदानफलप्रशंसा — Praise of the Merit of Donating Umbrella and Footwear
भीष्म उवाच शृणु राजन्नवहितश्छत्रोपानहविस्तरम् । यथैतत् प्रथितं लोके यथा चैतत् प्रवर्तितम्
bhīṣma uvāca śṛṇu rājann avahitaś chatropānahavistaram | yathaitat prathitaṃ loke yathā caitat pravartitam ||
ភីष្ម បានមានព្រះវាចាថា៖ «ស្តាប់ដោយប្រុងប្រយ័ត្ន ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ! ខ្ញុំនឹងរៀបរាប់ដោយលម្អិតអំពីឆ័ត្រ និងស្បែកជើង។ ចូរស្តាប់ថា វាបានល្បីល្បាញក្នុងលោកយ៉ាងដូចម្តេច ហើយការផ្តល់ទានវត្ថុទាំងនេះ តើបានចាប់ផ្តើម និងបានរីករាលដាលយ៉ាងដូចម្តេច»។
