Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
भीष्म उवाच साधोर्य: प्रतिगृह्लीयात् तथैवासाधुतो द्विज: । गुणवत्यल्पदोष: स्यान्निर्गुणे तु निमज्जति
bhīṣma uvāca sādhoryaḥ pratigṛhṇīyāt tathaivāsādhuto dvijaḥ | guṇavaty alpadoṣaḥ syān nirguṇe tu nimajjati ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ឱ ព្រះរាជា! ព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍ម្នាក់ដែលទទួលទាន—ទោះពីបុរសមានគុណធម៌ ឬពីបុរសអាក្រក់ក៏ដោយ—បើទទួលពីអ្នកមានគុណធម៌ នោះកំហុសមានតិចតួចប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ តែបើទទួលពីអ្នកគ្មានគុណល្អ គេនឹងលង់ចូលក្នុងបាប»។
