कृत्वाग्नौकरणं पूर्व मन्त्रपूर्व तपोधन । ततो5ग्नये5थ सोमाय वरुणाय च नित्यश:

Transliteration

kṛtvāgnaukaraṇaṃ pūrvaṃ mantrapūrva tapodhana | tato 'gnaye 'tha somāya varuṇāya ca nityaśaḥ ||

Translation

ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ អ្នកតបស្យាដ៏សម្បូរបែប! ក្រោយពីបានបញ្ចប់ពិធីបង្កើត និងបង្កើនភ្លើងបរិសុទ្ធ (អគ្នោការណ) ជាមុន ដោយមានការសូត្រមន្តវេដត្រឹមត្រូវហើយ នោះត្រូវធ្វើជាប្រចាំរៀងរាល់ថ្ងៃ ដោយអនុវត្តតាមលំដាប់បូជាដែលបានកំណត់—ថ្វាយភាគដល់អគ្និ បន្ទាប់មកដល់សោមៈ ហើយដល់វរុណៈ—ដើម្បីថែរក្សារបៀបរបបនៃធម៌ និងគាំទ្រកម្លាំងទេវៈដែលជាគ្រឹះនៃវា»។
