The Duty to Fulfill Promised Gifts
श्रुतश्चापि मया भूय: कृष्णस्यापि विशाम्पते | कथां कथयत: पूर्व ब्राह्मणं प्रति पाण्डव
śrutaś cāpi mayā bhūyaḥ kṛṣṇasyāpi viśāmpate | kathāṃ kathayataḥ pūrvaṃ brāhmaṇaṃ prati pāṇḍava prajānātha pāṇḍunandana ||
ភីෂ្មបាននិយាយថា៖ «ឱ អធិរាជនៃប្រជាជន, ឱ បណ្ឌវ, ឱ កូនបណ្ឌុ! ខ្ញុំក៏បានស្តាប់រឿងដដែលនេះម្តងទៀតពីព្រះក្រឹષ્ણផ្ទាល់ផងដែរ នៅពេលមុនដែលព្រះអង្គកំពុងនិទានរឿងស្រដៀងគ្នានេះដល់ព្រាហ្មណ៍ម្នាក់។ ដូច្នេះ អ្វីដែលខ្ញុំប្រាប់ មិនមែនជាពាក្យចចាមអារ៉ាមទេ ប៉ុន្តែជាគោលបង្រៀនដែលបានបញ្ជាក់ដោយព្រះវាចាអធិការណ៍»។
