नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)
ददृशुः कृत्तिकास्तं तु बालमर्कसमद्युतिम् । जातस्नेहाच्च सौहार्दात् पुपुषु: स्तन्यविस्त्रवै:
dadṛśuḥ kṛttikās taṃ tu bālam arka-samad-yutim | jāta-snehāc ca sauhārdāt pupuṣuḥ stanya-vistravaiḥ ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានពាក្យថា៖ «ក្រឹត្តិកាមាតាទាំងឡាយបានឃើញកុមារនោះ ភ្លឺរលោងដូចព្រះអាទិត្យ។ ពេលសេចក្តីស្រឡាញ់កើតឡើងក្នុងចិត្ត និងដោយមេត្រីភាពទន់ភ្លន់ ពួកនាងបានចិញ្ចឹមគាត់ ដោយឲ្យទឹកដោះហូរចេញពីសុដន់របស់ពួកនាងជាច្រេីន»។
