Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
आदित्या वसवो रुद्रा मरुतो5थाश्चिनावपि | साध्याश्च सर्वे संत्रस्ता दैतेयस्य पराक्रमात्,आदित्य, वसु, रुद्र, मरुदगण, अश्विनीकुमार तथा साध्य--सभी देवता उस दैत्यके पराक्रमसे संत्रस्त हो उठे थे
ādityā vasavo rudrā maruto ’thāśvināv api | sādhyāś ca sarve saṁtrastā daiteyasya parākramāt ||
ភីṣ្មៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «អាទិត្យៈ វសុៈ រុទ្រៈ មរុតៈ ហើយសូម្បីតែអશ્વិនទ្វ័យ—ពិតប្រាកដណាស់ សាធ្យៈទាំងអស់—សុទ្ធតែភ័យខ្លាចដោយសារអំណាចដ៏លើសលប់របស់ដៃតេយៈនោះ។»
