Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
सुवर्ण ये प्रयच्छन्ति एवं मत्पितरो<ब्रुवन् । ततोऊहं विस्मितो राजन प्रतिबुद्धो विशाम्पते
suvarṇaṃ ye prayacchanti evaṃ matpitaraḥ abruvan | tato 'haṃ vismito rājan pratibuddho viśāmpate ||
ភីષ្មៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «អ្នកណាដែលបរិច្ចាគមាស—បុព្វបុរសរបស់ខ្ញុំបានប្រកាសដូច្នេះ។ ពេលបានឮដូច្នេះ ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ—ឱ ម្ចាស់ប្រជាជន—ខ្ញុំមានការភ្ញាក់ផ្អើល ហើយភ្ញាក់ដឹងច្បាស់ជាងមុន»។
