गोशकृन्माहात्म्य-प्रश्नः (On the Merit of Cow-Dung and the Abode of Śrī) / Inquiry into the Sanctity of Cow-Dung
गोमत्या विद्यया धेनुं तिलानामभिमन्त्रय यः । सर्वरत्नमयीं दद्यान्न स शोचेत् कृताकृते
bhīṣma uvāca |
gomatyā vidyayā dhenuṃ tilānām abhimantrya yaḥ |
sarvaratnamayīṃ dadyān na sa śocet kṛtākṛte ||
ភីស្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «អ្នកណាដែលប្រើមន្ត “គោមតី” ដើម្បីបរិសុទ្ធ ‘គោធ្វើពីគ្រាប់ល្ង’ (ទានធេនុ) ដែលត្រូវបានពិពណ៌នាថាមានគ្រឿងរត្នទាំងឡាយ ហើយបន្ទាប់មកបរិច្ចាគគោនោះដល់ព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍ អ្នកនោះមិនសោកស្តាយចំពោះអំពើដែលបានធ្វើ ឬមិនបានធ្វើឡើយ ព្រោះបុណ្យនៃទាននោះលុបបំបាត់ការស្តាយក្រោយចំពោះកម្មល្អ និងកម្មអាក្រក់»។
