Go-dāna-stuti and Ghṛta-Japa
Praise of cow-gift and ghee-centered recitation
नाम संकीर्तयेत् तस्या यथासंख्योत्तरं स वै । “जो गौके निष्क्रयरूपसे उसका मूल्य
nāma saṅkīrtayet tasyā yathāsaṅkhyottaraṃ sa vai |
ភីષ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «គាត់គួរបញ្ចេញឈ្មោះដែលបានកំណត់សម្រាប់ទានជំនួសនោះ តាមលំដាប់ដែលបានបញ្ជាក់។» ក្នុងន័យនៃបទបញ្ជានេះ គឺថា ទោះបីជាមិនបានបរិច្ចាគគោពិតៗក៏ដោយ ប៉ុន្តែបរិច្ចាគតម្លៃសង (តម្លៃគោ) ឬក្រណាត់ ឬមាសជំនួសគោ ក៏អ្នកបរិច្ចាគត្រូវកំណត់ទាននោះដោយ «ឈ្មោះគោ» ដែលសមស្រប នៅពេលធ្វើសង្កល្ប (saṅkalpa) ដើម្បីឲ្យចេតនា និងទម្រង់ពិធី ត្រូវបានរាប់ជាគោទានត្រឹមត្រូវ។
