Go-apahāra (Cattle Theft), Go-dāna (Cow-Gift), and Suvarṇa-dakṣiṇā (Gold Fee): Karmic Consequence and Purificatory Merit
प्रयत्नं तत्र कुर्वाणास्तस्मात् कूपाज्जलार्थिन: । श्रमेण महता युक्तास्तस्मिंस्तोये सुसंवृते
prayatnaṁ tatra kurvāṇās tasmāt kūpāj jalārthinaḥ | śrameṇa mahatā yuktās tasmiṁs toye susaṁvṛte
ភីष្មបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ដូច្នេះ អ្នកដែលស្វែងរកទឹកពីអណ្ដូងនោះ បានខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងនៅទីនោះដោយចិត្តមុតមាំ។ ទោះបីនឿយហត់យ៉ាងខ្លាំងក៏ដោយ ពួកគេនៅតែបន្ត ព្រោះទឹកនៅខាងក្នុងត្រូវបានបិទបាំងយ៉ាងរឹងមាំ មិនងាយយកបានឡើយ។»
