Bhūmi-dānasya Māhātmya
The Pre-eminence of Land-Gift
यस्य वै शैशिरे काले तडागे सलिलं भवेत् । तस्याग्निष्टोमयज्ञस्यथ फलमाहुर्मनीषिण:
yasya vai śaiśire kāle taḍāge salilaṁ bhavet | tasyāgniṣṭomayajñasya tathā phalam āhur manīṣiṇaḥ ||
ភីស្មៈ «បើស្រះទឹករបស់បុគ្គលណាម្នាក់នៅតែមានទឹករហូតដល់រដូវរងា នោះបណ្ឌិតទាំងឡាយថា កុសលផលនៃការធ្វើដូច្នេះ ស្មើនឹងផលនៃយញ្ញ អគ្និષ્ટោម (Agniṣṭoma)។ ការរក្សាទឹកឲ្យមានសម្រាប់អ្នកដទៃ គឺជាធម៌នៃសុខុមាលភាពសាធារណៈ ដែលគាំទ្រជីវិត និងសហគមន៍ ដូចបានសរសើរថាស្មើនឹងកុសលធំៗនៃពិធីយញ្ញ។»
