अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
वेपमानौ निराहारौ पञ्चाशद्रात्रकर्षितौ । कथंचिदूहतुर्वीरी दम्पती तं रथोत्तमम्
vepamānau nirāhārau pañcāśad-rātra-karśitau | kathaṃcid ūhatur vīrī dampatī taṃ rathottamam ||
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «អវយវៈទាំងអស់ញ័ររន្ធត់ ដោយអត់អាហារ ហើយស្គមស្គាំងដោយរាត្រីហាសិប—ប្តីប្រពន្ធវីរបុរសទាំងពីរ ក៏នៅតែប្រមូលកម្លាំងចិត្តឡើង ដោយការខិតខំយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ដើម្បីទ្រាំទ្រនិងអូសរទេះដ៏ប្រសើរនោះទៅមុខ»។
