Cyavana Explains His Tests; Kuśika Seeks Brāhmaṇya for His Line (च्यवन–कुशिक संवादः)
सत्कृत्य तं तथा विप्रमिदं पुनरथाब्रवीत् । भगवन् परवन्न्तौ स्वो ब्रूहि किं करवावहे
satkṛtya taṃ tathā vipram idaṃ punar athābravīt | bhagavan paravantau svaḥ brūhi kiṃ karavāvahe ||
ភីṣ្មៈបាននិយាយថា៖ ក្រោយពីបានគោរពស្វាគមន៍ឥសីព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍នោះតាមគួរ ពួកគេបាននិយាយទៅកាន់លោកម្ដងទៀតថា៖ «ព្រះគ្រូដ៏គួរគោរព! យើងទាំងពីរ—ប្តី និងប្រពន្ធ—ស្ថិតក្រោមការណែនាំរបស់លោក។ សូមប្រាប់ថា យើងគួរធ្វើសេវាអ្វីដល់លោក?»
