Ānṛśaṃsya–Bhakti: Śukaḥ Śakreṇa Parīkṣitaḥ
Compassion and Devotion—The Parrot Tested by Indra
त्वमेव दैवतै: सर्वे: पृच्छयसे धर्मसंशयात् । अतत्त्वं देवदेवानामाधिपत्ये प्रतिष्ठित:
tvam eva daivataiḥ sarvaiḥ pṛcchyase dharma-saṁśayāt | atattvaṁ deva-devānām ādhipatye pratiṣṭhitaḥ ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «នៅពេលមានសង្ស័យអំពីធម៌ ទេវតាទាំងអស់ សុទ្ធតែមកសួរព្រះអង្គតែមួយគត់។ ដូចហេតុនេះ ព្រះអង្គបានតាំងស្ថិតយ៉ាងមាំមួនក្នុងតំណែងអធិបតី លើសូម្បីតែទេវតានៃទេវតាទាំងឡាយ—ជាអ្នកចេះបែងចែកអ្វីជាពិត និងអ្វីមិនពិត»។
