अपत्यजन्म शूद्रायां न प्रशंसन्ति साधव: । शूद्रायां जनयन् वि्र: प्रायश्चित्ती विधीयते
apatyajanma śūdrāyāṁ na praśaṁsanti sādhavaḥ | śūdrāyāṁ janayan vipraḥ prāyaścittī vidhīyate ||
ភីष្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «អ្នកមានធម៌មិនសរសើរនូវការបង្កើតកូនក្នុងស្ត្រីសូទ្រៈទេ។ ប្រសិនបើព្រហ្មណ៍ម្នាក់បង្កើតកូនក្នុងស្ត្រីសូទ្រៈ នោះត្រូវកំណត់ពិធីសម្អាតបាប (ប្រាយស្ចិត្ត) សម្រាប់គាត់»។
