Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46
नासां स्नेहो नरै: कार्यस्तथैवेष्ष्या जनेश्वर । खेदमास्थाय भुज्जीत धर्ममास्थाय चैव ह
Vipula uvāca: nāsāṃ sneho naraiḥ kāryas tathaiveṣyā janeśvara | khedam āsthāya bhuñjīta dharmam āsthāya caiva ha | anṛtāv iha parvādidoṣavarja narādhipa ||
វិពុលៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់នៃមនុស្ស! បុរសមិនគួរចងចិត្តស្រឡាញ់ស្ត្រីខ្លាំងពេក ហើយក៏មិនគួរច្រណែនពួកនាងដែរ។ ដោយរក្សាវិរាគ្យក្នុងចិត្ត និងយកធម៌ជាទីពឹង គួររួមរស់ជាគូស្វាមីភរិយាតែតាមរដូវសមរម្យ បន្ទាប់ពីការសម្អាតតាមក្បួន ហើយជៀសវាងកំហុសដូចជាការរួមភេទនៅថ្ងៃហាមឃាត់ និងការល្មើសផ្សេងៗ»។
