स तेन कर्मणा स्पर्थन्‌ पृथिवीं पृथिवीपते । चचार गतभी: प्रीतो लब्धकीर्तिवरो नृप

Transliteration

sa tena karmaṇā spardhan pṛthivīṁ pṛthivīpate | cacāra gatabhīḥ prīto labdhakīrtivaro nṛpa ||

Translation

ភីෂ្មៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់នៃផែនដី! ដោយសារតបៈនោះ វិបុលមានមោទនភាពក្នុងចិត្ត ហើយចាប់ផ្តើមប្រកួតប្រជែងជាមួយអ្នកដទៃ។ ឱ ព្រះរាជា! ព្រោះបានទទួលទាំងកេរ្តិ៍ឈ្មោះ និងពរជ័យពីគ្រូរួចហើយ គាត់ក៏ដើរល្បាតលើផែនដីដោយមិនភ័យ និងដោយចិត្តសុខសាន្ត»។
