अथवा पौरुषेणेयं न शक््या रक्षितुं मया
athavā pauruṣeṇeyaṁ na śakyā rakṣituṁ mayā
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ឬមិនដូច្នោះទេ ខ្ញុំមិនអាចការពារនេះដោយកម្លាំងមនុស្សធម្មតាប៉ុណ្ណោះបានឡើយ។ ព្រោះឥន្ទ្រ—ម្ចាស់នៃសម្បត្តិ និងល្បីថាអាចប្រែរូបបានច្រើន—ត្រូវបាននិយាយថាមានអំណាចខ្លាំងណាស់។ ដូច្នេះ ខ្ញុំនឹងពឹងផ្អែកលើកម្លាំងយោគៈតែប៉ុណ្ណោះ ហើយការពារនាង សូម្បីតែប្រឆាំងនឹងឥន្ទ្រក៏ដោយ»។
