Devaśarmā–Vipula Dialogue on Ahorātra–Ṛtu as Moral Witnesses (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४३)
आहृय दयितं शिष्यं विपुलं प्राह भार्गवम् । फिर उन महा तपस्वीने मन-ही-मन उसकी रक्षाका उपाय सोचकर अपने प्रिय शिष्य भगुवंशी विपुलको बुलाकर कहा--
āhṛya dayitaṃ śiṣyaṃ vipulaṃ prāha bhārgavam |
ភីស្មាបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ បន្ទាប់ពីហៅសិស្សជាទីស្រឡាញ់ឈ្មោះ វីពុលា មកហើយ ព្រះបារគវៈបាននិយាយទៅកាន់គាត់។ អ្នកតបសធំ នោះបានគិតក្នុងចិត្តពីវិធីការពារអ្វីដែលសំខាន់ ហើយហៅសិស្សជាទីពេញចិត្តមក ដើម្បីនិយាយ—ចាប់ផ្តើមការការពារដែលដឹកនាំដោយធម៌ មិនមែនដោយការប្រញាប់ប្រញាល់។
