Vipulopākhyāna—Ruci-rakṣā and Śakra’s Māyā (विपुलोपाख्यानम्—रुचिरक्षणं शक्रमाया च)
अतोडन्यथा वर्तमाना: सर्वे नाहन्ति सत्क्रियाम् । तस्मान्नित्यं परीक्षेत पुरुषान् प्रणिधाय वै
atoḍa-nyathā vartamānāḥ sarve nāhanti satkriyām | tasmān nityaṃ parīkṣeta puruṣān praṇidhāya vai ||
ភីष្ម បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «អ្នកទាំងឡាយណាដែលប្រព្រឹត្តផ្ទុយពីវិន័យ និងការគ្រប់គ្រងខ្លួន—ពួកគេមិនថែរក្សាសុចរិតពិតប្រាកដឡើយ។ ដូច្នេះ គួរតែពិនិត្យមនុស្សជានិច្ច ដោយចិត្តប្រុងប្រយ័ត្ន និងយកចិត្តទុកដាក់ មុននឹងដាក់ជំនឿ ឬផ្ទុកភារកិច្ចលើពួកគេ»
