Gṛhastha-Vrata
गृहस्थश्वावजेष्यामि मृत्युमित्येव स प्रभो । प्रतिज्ञामकरोद् धीमान् दीप्ततेजा विशाम्पते
gṛhasthaś cāvajeṣyāmi mṛtyum ity eva sa prabho | pratijñām akarod dhīmān dīptatejā viśāmpate ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់—បុរសប្រាជ្ញនោះ មានតេជៈភ្លឺចែងចាំង ជាអធិបតីនៃប្រជាជន—បានធ្វើសច្ចាប្រណិធាននេះថា៖ ‘ខ្ញុំនឹងឈ្នះមរណភាព ដោយនៅក្នុងអាស្រមគ្រហស្ថ និងអនុវត្តកាតព្វកិច្ចរបស់វាឲ្យបានពេញលេញ’»។
