यथा ह्ुपस्थितैश्वर्या: प्रजायन्ते न राजसा: । एवमेवात्मना5७त्मानं पूजयन्तीह धार्मिका:
yathā hy upasthitaiśvaryāḥ prajāyante na rājasāḥ | evam evātmanātmānaṃ pūjayantīha dhārmikāḥ ||
ភីស្មាបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ដូចជាអ្នកដែលមានអធិបតេយ្យភាពរឹងមាំរួចហើយ មិនស្វែងរកការកើតឡើងវិញដោយការខិតខំដែលជំរុញដោយរាជស (រាជសគុណ) ទេ ដូច្នោះដែរ អ្នកមានធម៌នៅទីនេះ គោរពអាត្មាដោយអាត្មា។ ដោយការអនុវត្តធម៌យ៉ាងមានវិន័យ ពួកគេលើកតម្កើងខ្លួនខាងក្នុងឲ្យឈានទៅស្ថានភាពខ្ពស់ ប្រយ័ត្នមិនឲ្យរាជសគុណនាំឲ្យធ្លាក់ចូលវដ្តកំណើត និងមរណៈម្ដងទៀត»។
