स्वदेशे परदेशे वाप्यतिथिं नोपवासयेत् । कर्म वै सफल कृत्वा गुरूणां प्रतिपादयेत्
Bhīṣma uvāca | svadeśe paradeśe vāpy atithiṁ nopavāsayet | karma vai saphalaṁ kṛtvā gurūṇāṁ pratipādayet ||
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ នៅក្នុងស្រុកខ្លួន ឬនៅស្រុកគេ កុំឲ្យភ្ញៀវណាម្នាក់នៅឃ្លានឡើយ។ ហើយកិច្ចការណាដែលគ្រូ ឬអ្នកចាស់ទុំបានបញ្ជា គួរធ្វើឲ្យសម្រេចដោយល្អ ហើយបន្ទាប់មករាយការណ៍ជូនពួកគេ។
