यदा धर्मों ग्लाति वंशे सुराणां तदा कृष्णो जायते मानुषेषु । धर्मे स्थित्वा स तु वै भावितात्मा परांक्ष लोकानपरांश्ष पाति
yadā dharmo glāti vaṁśe surāṇāṁ tadā kṛṣṇo jāyate mānuṣeṣu | dharme sthitvā sa tu vai bhāvitātmā parāṁś ca lokān aparāṁś ca pāti ||
ភីෂ្មៈមានពាក្យថា៖ នៅពេលដែលធម៌ចាប់ផ្តើមរលាយចុះក្នុងវង្សត្រកូលនៃទេវតា នោះព្រះក្រឹષ્ણកើតមកក្នុងចំណោមមនុស្ស។ ព្រះអង្គឈរយ៉ាងមាំមួនក្នុងធម៌ មានចិត្តខាងក្នុងបរិសុទ្ធ និងបានបណ្តុះបណ្តាលរួចហើយ ព្រះអង្គរស់តាមធម៌នោះ ដើម្បីស្ថាបនាវិញ និងការពារទាំងលោកខ្ពស់ និងលោកទាប។
