अष्टपञ्चाशर्दाधिकशततमो« ध्याय: भीष्मजीके द्वारा भगवान् श्रीकृष्णकी महिमाका वर्णन युधिछिर उवाच ब्राह्मणानर्चसे राजन् सततं संशितव्रतान् । कं तु कर्मोदयं दृष्टवा तानर्चसि जनाधिप
Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca—brāhmaṇān arcasi rājan satataṁ saṁśitavratān | kaṁ tu karmodayaṁ dṛṣṭvā tān arcasi janādhipa ||
យុធិષ્ઠិរ បាននិយាយថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះរាជា! អ្នកតែងតែគោរពបូជាព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍ ដែលមាំមួនក្នុងវ្រតដ៏តឹងរឹង និងវិន័យល្អ។ ឱ អធិរាជនៃមនុស្ស! សូមប្រាប់ខ្ញុំថា ដោយឃើញផលប្រយោជន៍អ្វីកើតពីកិច្ចកម្ម ទើបអ្នកបូជាពួកគេ?»
