दृष्टवा नातिप्रभं सोम॑ तथा सूर्य च पार्थिव । प्रकाशमकरोददत्रिस्तपसा स्वेन संयुगे
dṛṣṭvā nātiprabhaṃ somaṃ tathā sūryaṃ ca pārthiva | prakāśam akarod atris tapasā svena saṃyuge ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានពាក្យថា៖ «ព្រះមហាក្សត្រអើយ ពេលឃើញថា ព្រះចន្ទ (សោមៈ) និងព្រះអាទិត្យ មិនភ្លឺពេញលេញទេ អត្រីមហាមុនីបានប្រើអានុភាពតបស្យារបស់ខ្លួន បញ្ចេញពន្លឺលើសមរភូមិនោះ បណ្តេញអន្ធការ និងធ្វើឲ្យពិភពលោកភ្លឺច្បាស់»។
