अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
आराधितो<भूद् भक्तेन तस्योदर्क निशामय । स दृष्टवान् महादेवमस्तौषीच्च स्तवैर्विभुम्
ārādhito 'bhūd bhaktena tasyodarkaṃ niśāmaya | sa dṛṣṭavān mahādevam astauṣīc ca stavair vibhum ||
វាយុបាននិយាយថា៖ «ចូរស្តាប់ផលនៃភក្តិដ៏ស្មោះនោះ។ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ត្រូវបានបូជាដោយសេចក្តីជឿរបស់អ្នកបម្រើ ហើយបានប្រទានផលវិបាកនៃការបូជានោះ៖ គាត់បានឃើញព្រះមហាទេវ ហើយបានសរសើរព្រះអធិបតីដ៏គ្របដណ្តប់ទាំងអស់ ដោយបទស្តូត្រ»។
