द्रष्टव्यं नैतदेवं हि कथं जायेदजो हि सः । स्मृतमाकाशमण्डं तु तस्माज्जात: पितामह:
draṣṭavyaṃ naitadevaṃ hi kathaṃ jāyed ajo hi saḥ | smṛtam ākāśamaṇḍaṃ tu tasmāj jātaḥ pitāmahaḥ ||
អរជុនបាននិយាយថា៖ «តែគួរមិនយល់បែបនោះឡើយ។ អ្នកដែលមិនកើត (អជៈ) នឹងកើតបានដូចម្តេច? ពាក្យថា ‘កើតពីស៊ុត’ គ្រាន់តែជាការប្រៀបធៀបប៉ុណ្ណោះ៖ ទំហំព្រះអាកាសដ៏មហាល្វឹងល្វើយ ត្រូវបានហៅថា ‘ស៊ុត’ ហើយពីនោះ ព្រះបិតាមហា (ព្រហ្មា) បានបង្ហាញខ្លួន។ ដូច្នេះ ទើបហៅថា ‘កើតពីស៊ុត’ តាមន័យនោះ»។
