कथितं त्वनयासत्यं गायत्रया कन्यया दिवि । विजेष्याम्यवशानू् सर्व ब्राद्मणांश्वर्मवासस:
kathitaṃ tv anayā satyaṃ gāyatrayā kanyayā divi | vijeṣyāmy avaśān sarvān brāhmaṇān carmavāsasaḥ |
អរជុនបាននិយាយថា៖ «អ្វីដែលក្មេងស្រីឈ្មោះ គាយត្រី បានប្រកាសនៅស្ថានសួគ៌ថា ព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍លើសលប់ជាងក្សត្រីយៈ នោះមិនមែនជាការពិតទេ។ ព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍ដែលពាក់ស្បែកសត្វ ភាគច្រើនស្ថិតក្រោមការពឹងពាក់ និងត្រូវបង្ខំ; ខ្ញុំនឹងឈ្នះពួកគេទាំងអស់។ ក្នុងបីលោក មិនមានទេវតា ឬមនុស្សណាម្នាក់អាចបណ្តេញខ្ញុំចេញពីអធិបតេយ្យរបស់ខ្ញុំបានឡើយ; ដូច្នេះ ខ្ញុំលើសលប់ជាងព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍»។
