चातुर्वर्ण्य भगवता पूर्व सृष्टे स्वयम्भुवा । केन कर्मविपाकेन वैश्यो गच्छति शूद्रताम्
cāturvarṇyaṁ bhagavatā pūrvaṁ sṛṣṭe svayambhuvā | kena karmavipākena vaiśyo gacchati śūdratām ||
ព្រះមហេស្វរ សួរថា៖ «នៅដើមកាលបុរាណ ពេលព្រះស្វយម្ភូ (ព្រះបរមបិតា) បានបង្កើតវណ្ណៈទាំងបួន—ដោយផលវិបាកនៃកម្មអ្វី ទើបវៃស្យៈម្នាក់ ទៅដល់ស្ថានភាពជាសូទ្រៈ?»
श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
