Adhyāya 142: Cyavana, the Devas’ Arrogance, and Vāyu’s Counsel on Protecting Brāhmaṇas
अवर्षति च पर्जन्ये सर्वभूतानि देवराट् । वसिष्ठो जीवयामास येन यातो$क्षयां गतिम्
avarṣati ca parjanye sarvabhūtāni devarāṭ | vasiṣṭho jīvayāmāsa yena yāto 'kṣayāṃ gatim ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ កាលណាព្រះពរជន្យៈមិនបង្អួចភ្លៀង សត្វមានជីវិតទាំងអស់បានទទួលទុក្ខវេទនា។ តែឥសីវសិṣ្ឋៈដ៏ឧត្តម បានផ្តល់ជីវិតឡើងវិញដល់ពួកគេ; ដោយកុសលនៃការផ្តល់ជីវិតនោះ ព្រះអង្គបានឈានដល់ស្ថានអមរភាព។
