Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
यत् तद् भगवता पूर्व दत्त चक्रं तवानघ । जलान्तरचरं हत्वा दैत्यं च बलगर्वितम्
yat tad bhagavatā pūrva datta cakraṁ tavānagha | jalāntaracaraṁ hatvā daityaṁ ca balagarvitam ||
វាសុទេវៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ឱ អ្នកបរិសុទ្ធឥតបាប—ចក្រនោះ ដែលព្រះអម្ចាស់បានប្រទានដល់ព្រះអង្គកាលពីមុន បន្ទាប់ពីបានសម្លាប់អសុរដ៏អួតអាងកម្លាំង ដែលធ្វើដំណើរនៅក្នុងទឹក—គឺព្រះវೃಷធ្វជ (ព្រះសិវៈ) ទ្រង់បានបង្កើតដោយព្រះហស្តផ្ទាល់ ហើយប្រទានដល់ព្រះអង្គ។ អាវុធនោះភ្លឺរលោងដូចភ្លើង មានពន្លឺអស្ចារ្យ និងមិនអាចទប់ទល់បាន»។
