Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
को हि शक्तो गुणान् वक्तुं देवदेवस्प धीमत: । गर्भजन्मजरायुक्तो मर्त्यों मृत्युसमन्वित:
ko hi śakto guṇān vaktuṁ devadevasya dhīmataḥ | garbhajanmajarāyukto martyo mṛtyusamanvitaḥ ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ តើមនុស្សស្លាប់ណាអាចមានសមត្ថភាពពោលពណ៌នាគុណធម៌នៃព្រះអធិទេវដ៏ប្រាជ្ញានោះបាន? មនុស្សដែលជាប់ពាក់នឹងការកើតក្នុងគភ៌ កំណើត ជរា ហើយមានមរណៈជាដៃគូជានិច្ច។
