Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony

विभूषितं पुण्यपवित्रतोयया सदा च जुष्टं नृप जह्लुकन्यया । विभूषितं धर्मभृतां वरिष्ठै- महात्मभिव॑द्लिसमानकल्पै:

Transliteration

vibhūṣitaṃ puṇyapavitratoyayā sadā ca juṣṭaṃ nṛpa jahlukanyayā | vibhūṣitaṃ dharmabhṛtāṃ variṣṭhair mahātmabhir adlisamānakalpaiḥ ||

Translation

វាសុទេវៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ! ទីនោះត្រូវបានតុបតែងដោយទឹកដ៏បរិសុទ្ធ និងបន្សុទ្ធបាបជានិច្ច ហើយទន្លេជាហ្នវី—កូនស្រីរបស់ជហ្នុ—ហាក់ដូចជាមកស្នាក់ស្រឡាញ់ និងមកប្រើប្រាស់ជានិច្ច។ ទីនោះក៏ត្រូវបានអភិសេកដោយមហាត្មាច្រើន—អ្នកគាំទ្រធម៌ដ៏ប្រសើរបំផុត—មានពន្លឺដូចភ្លើង។ ដូច្នេះ ទន្លេជាហ្នវីដែលមានស្ទឹងដ៏មានបុណ្យ បានបន្ថែមសោភ័ណភាពដល់ដែនបរិសុទ្ធនោះជានិច្ច»។
