Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
पशुपतिवचनाद् भवामि सद्य: कृमिरथवा तरुरप्यनेकशाख: । अपशुपतिवरप्रसादजा मे त्रिभुवनराज्यविभूतिरप्यनिष्टा
paśupativacanād bhavāmi sadyaḥ kṛmir athavā tarur apy anekaśākhaḥ | apaśupativarprasādajā me tribhuvanarājyavibhūtir apy aniṣṭā ||
វាសុទេវបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «តាមព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះបសុបតិ ខ្ញុំអាចក្លាយជាដង្កូវ ឬក៏ជាដើមឈើមានសាខាច្រើនភ្លាមៗ ដោយចិត្តរីករាយ។ ប៉ុន្តែបើសិរីល្អនៃអធិបតេយ្យលើលោកទាំងបីមកដល់ខ្ញុំដោយពរ និងព្រះគុណពីអ្នកណាម្នាក់ក្រៅពីព្រះបសុបតិ (ព្រះសិវៈ) នោះសូម្បីតែវាក៏មិនមែនជាអ្វីដែលខ្ញុំប្រាថ្នាទេ»។
