विष्णुरुवाच ब्राह्मणानां परीवादो मम विद्वेषणं महत् । ब्राह्मणै: पूजितैर्नित्यं पूजितो5हं न संशय:
viṣṇur uvāca—brāhmaṇānāṃ parīvādo mama vidveṣaṇaṃ mahat | brāhmaṇaiḥ pūjitair nityaṃ pūjito ’haṃ na saṃśayaḥ ||
ព្រះវិṣṇu មានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ការប្រមាថព្រាហ្មណ៍ គឺដូចជាការកាន់ទុក្ខស្អប់ខ្ញុំយ៉ាងធំ។ ពេលព្រាហ្មណ៍ត្រូវបានគោរពបូជាជានិច្ច នោះខ្ញុំក៏ត្រូវបានគោរពបូជាដែរ—មិនមានសង្ស័យឡើយ»។
