Umā–Maheśvara-saṃvāda: Varṇa-bhraṃśa, Ācāra (Vṛtta), and Karmic Ascent/Decline
आप ही प्राणियोंकी सृष्टि करते हैं, आप ही समस्त प्रजाका संहार करते हैं और आप ही मनुष्योंसहित सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंकी सनातन प्रकृति (मूल कारण) हैं ।।
bhīṣma uvāca | samprahasya tato viṣṇur idaṃ vacanam abravīt | cakreṇa nihatā daityāḥ padbhyāṃ krāntā vasundharā | varāharūpaṃ dhṛtvā hiraṇyākṣo nipātitaḥ | vāmanabrāhmaṇarūpeṇa baliḥ jitavān mayā |
ភីષ្មៈបានមានពាក្យថា៖ «មហារាជ! បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះវិෂ್ಣុបានញញឹម ហើយមានព្រះបន្ទូលដូច្នេះថា៖ ‘ឱ ព្រះរាជានៃទេវតា! ដោយចក្រ ខ្ញុំបានវាយសម្លាប់ពួកដៃត្យ; ដោយជំហានទាំងពីរ ខ្ញុំបានគ្របដណ្តប់ផែនដី។ ដោយទ្រង់រូបវរាហ ខ្ញុំបានផ្តួលអសុរ ហិរណ្យាក្ស; ហើយដោយយករូបព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍តឿ វាមនៈ ខ្ញុំបានបង្ក្រាបព្រះបាលី’»។
