अस्माकं परितोषश्न अक्षय: परिकीरत्त्यते | इस तरह निष्कपट भावसे किया हुआ दान अक्षय एवं महान् फलदायक होता है और उससे हमें भी अक्षय संतोष प्राप्त होता है--ऐसा शास्त्रका कथन है ।।
śakra uvāca | asmākaṃ paritoṣaś ca akṣayaḥ parikīrtyate | śraddadhānāś ca ye martyā āhariṣyanti santatim ||
ឥន្ទ្រ (Śakra) បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ក្នុងសាស្ត្រ បានប្រកាសថា សេចក្តីពេញចិត្តរបស់យើងផង ក៏មិនអស់សព្វថ្ងៃដែរ។ ដូច្នេះ ទានដែលធ្វើដោយចិត្តបើកចំហ មិនមានល្បិចកល នឹងក្លាយជាទានអមតៈ ឲ្យផលធំ; ដោយទាននោះ យើងផង ក៏ទទួលបានសេចក្តីសុខចិត្តមិនចប់—នេះជាព្រះបន្ទូលនៃសាស្ត្រ។ ហើយមនុស្សស្លាប់បានទាំងឡាយណា ដែលឧបត្ថម្ភដោយសទ្ធា នឹងទទួលបានពូជពង្សបន្តយូរអង្វែង»។
