अन्नदानफलं (Anna-dāna-phala) / The Fruit of Food-Giving
अत: पर॑ं नोपवासो भवतीति विनिश्षय: । उवाच भगवान् विष्णु: स्वयमेव पुरातनम्
ataḥ paraṁ nopavāso bhavatīti viniśṣayaḥ | uvāca bhagavān viṣṇuḥ svayam eva purātanam |
ភីष្មបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «ចូរយល់ឲ្យច្បាស់ដោយមិនសង្ស័យថា មិនមានការតមអាហារណាមួយលើសពីនេះទេ។ វ្រតបុរាណនេះ ត្រូវបានព្រះវិស្ណុផ្ទាល់ ទ្រង់បង្រៀន»។
