रक्तमाल्यं न धार्य स्याच्छुक्लं धार्य तु पण्डितै: । वर्जयित्वा तु कमलं तथा कुवलयं प्रभो

Transliteration

raktamālyaṃ na dhāryaṃ syāc chuklaṃ dhāryaṃ tu paṇḍitaiḥ | varjayitvā tu kamalaṃ tathā kuvalayaṃ prabho ||

Translation

ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ មិនគួរពាក់កម្រងផ្កាពណ៌ក្រហមទេ; បណ្ឌិតគួរពាក់កម្រងផ្កាពណ៌ស។ ប៉ុន្តែ—ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់—លើកលែងតែផ្កាឈូក និងកុវលយ (ឈូកខៀវ) ប៉ុណ្ណោះ; ដូច្នេះ ទោះវាមានពណ៌ក្រហមក៏មិនមានទោសក្នុងការពាក់ឡើយ។
